An introduction to linked Planyard accounts and how to set them up.
Introduction
In Planyard, you can have multiple user accounts and link them together. This feature enables you to be active across different company accounts simultaneously, which is particularly beneficial for consultants who work with various companies and developers managing projects across multiple legal entities within Planyard.
You can seamlessly switch between these linked accounts once logged in. To enable account linking, it must first be activated by Planyard. Please get in touch with your Planyard representative to have this feature enabled.
How to Link Your Planyard Accounts
Follow these steps to link your accounts after logging into one of them:
- Click on your name in the top right corner.
- Navigate to "Settings" in the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to "Linked Planyard Accounts" and click "Add Linked Account."
- Use the login credentials for the user account you wish to link and click "Link Account."
- A green box will appear in the top right corner, indicating that the link was successful.
Your user accounts are now linked. If you click on your name in the top right corner again, you will see a list of your linked accounts. For each linked account, the company account name will be displayed, with user account initials to the left. Click on the account you wish to switch to.
